The 2025 Manchester School of Architecture end of year exhibition will be open to the public from 7 – 28 June.

The opening night for family, friends and guests will be on Friday 6 June, from 5pm.

The exhibition venue is Chatham building on the Manchester Metropolitan University campus, off Oxford Road.

On display will be student work from across the School, including foundation year, the first and second years of BA Architecture, our eight vertical ateliers which feature the work of both BA3 and MArch students, as well as the Master of Landscape Architecture, MA in Architecture and Urbanism and MA in Adaptive Reuse programmes. The exhibition will also present the work of our flagship initiative MSA LIVE in which our students work with local community groups, charities, and stakeholders on live projects to create social impact.

We will be launching our online platform MSA 2025 in early June, showcasing more work from across the School including profiles of our graduating students.

Information for Visitors

The main architecture exhibition spaces will be located on the 5th to 8th floors of the Chatham tower. The building is fully accessible, with step-free entrances and lifts to all floors.

Access to the Chatham tower is via the Lowry building entrance on Boundary Street West.

The University does not have any car parking facilities for visitors, but there are public multi-storey car parks located near by and some limited on-street parking. The campus is easily accessible by public transport.

Practice Preview

The Practice Preview will follow the ‘Meet the Practice’ careers event taking place in the Geoffrey Manton Building on Thursday 5 June (2pm–5pm).

The University of Manchester is holding undergraduate open days on Saturdays 21 and 28 June. The University of Manchester campus is adjacent so it's an ideal opportunity to include a visit to the exhbition during your open day visit.

Manchester School of Art Degree Show

Manchester School of Art's Degree Show, which showcases the work of graduating art, design, fashion, digital arts and performance students, will also be open to the public from 7 June until 20 June (please note the different end date). The work will be exhibited in the adjacent Lowry, Grosvenor, Righton and SODA buildings.
