The images provided are of a residential scheme intended to be used by the people living in the area surrouding Stretford road, Old Trafford, Manchester. As the existing area was divided into different zones, the main aim of the scheme was to bring people together. This has been established through the incorporation of a movie theatre and green spaces which were designed to enhance the interaction of the residents living in the area. The houses have been designed to accomodate families, students and older people, bringing multiple generations together. Each of the houses have either a balcony or a courtyard to ensure connection with the outside. Furthermore, facing each house is a small garden space designed to improve the social life of the area and create interation. As well as the small garden spaces, a public park and an outdoor seating area was incorportated to be used as a space for launching pop-up events and bringing the wider community together.
