The study at MSA has significantly broadened my professional horizon, MSA provided me with a unique opportunity of studying Architecture and Urbanism.

In the academic year 2019-2020, I involved in the study trip to the cave city Matera, Italy with Eamonn Canniffe and the teaching staff at the University of Basilicata. The experience inspired my interest in cave-dwelling and town. After in-depth research of Matera in Studio A, I continued to study the cave architecture and village in Northwestern China, it is absorbing to research the difference and similarity of the history, culture, problem and challenge of these two cave areas. In terms of different conditions, I did the architecture and urban design to try to solve the local problems and to save and revive the historic cave building from forsaken crises. The study process of this year is systematic and amazing.
