The Feminist-Socialist City Prototype
I am driven by a strong interest in research, particularly around feminist urbanism and the transformative potential of spatial design. My focus is on how care, equity and cultural memory can shape more inclusive and just cities, often through a critical lens on power and erasure in the urban realm.
My thesis project reimagines the central block in Bucharest's Uranus neighbourhood as a feminist-socialist city prototype, proposing spatial strategies that centre collective life, as well as infrastructures focused on care and interdependence. Through drawing, deep mapping, site-writing and narrative, I explore how architecture can respond to social needs while challenging systems of value.
Writing is central to my practice, not just as a communication tool, but also as a generative design method. I believe my work moves fluidly across disciplines, combining tools from architecture, literature and the humanities to build layered, research-led projects. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches that allow architecture to engage critically with the world beyond its traditional boundaries.
