Anastasiya Luban is a Lecturer and core member of Architectural Digital Design team [ADD]. She contributes to the development and implementation of the school’s Digital Strategy, ensuring the constructive alignment and continuous evolution of school’s digital infrastructure. Her work aligns with the DELTA [Digitally Enhanced Learning Teaching and Assessment] framework, which focuses on creating an inclusive, technology-driven learning environment. 

Being a passionate advocate for inclusive pedagogy, she is fostering a creative learning environment that empowers students to explore diverse methodologies while addressing issues like digital poverty. As Visualization Lead, Anastasiya specializes in guiding students in developing advanced architectural communication and representation skills through the seamless integration of analogue and digital techniques, promoting the development of unique design languages. Her diverse software expertise, combined with her artistic foundation, enables her to guide students in effectively communicating their ideas while exploring innovative solutions. Anastasiya is an interdisciplinary architectural digital generalist with extensive experience in practice and academia, covering analogue model making and digital fabrication, knowledge of 2D, 3D CAD and BIM packages, AI, algorithmic design, climate modelling tools, varied rendering software, animation and video editing, as well as in-depth knowledge of graphic principles using Adobe Suite and more. She holds a PGCE-HE qualification together with being a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her teaching expertise covers Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, across disciplines such as Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Urbanism, and Product Design.

Beyond academia, Anastasiya co-leads a prosthetic design practice that challenges traditional perceptions of disability and limb differences. Drawing on her expertise in digital fabrication, 3D printing, and fine art, she co-creates bespoke prosthetic limbs that blend functionality with artistry. This innovative practice not only drives her research but also informs her teaching, allowing her to bring real-world applications and evolving technologies into the classroom.
