Mechanics of Democracy
This parliamentary proposal uses movement through the Epping Bridge as the primary generator of form and programme. Derived from patterns of circulation, the project creates a sequence of civic spaces, treated as 14 fragments of movement, that encourage encounters between migrant and non-migrant communities and transforming a route of passage into a place of dialogue, participation and exchange.
