Seasonal Wet Margins
I am a Master of Landscape Architecture student at the Manchester School of Architecture with a particular interest in landscape systems, ecological restoration, and water-sensitive design.
My work explores how landscape architecture can respond to environmental challenges through the integration of hydrological processes, ecological networks, and human experience. Through research and design, I am interested in understanding how productive landscapes can support biodiversity, climate resilience, and public engagement simultaneously.
My final major project, Seasonal Wet Margins, investigates the relationship between water, agriculture, and ecology within a floodplain landscape. The project explores how seasonal fluctuations can be embraced as a design opportunity, creating adaptable spaces that support habitat creation, flood management, and everyday use.
Alongside my academic work, I have developed skills in spatial design, landscape analysis, GIS mapping, visual communication, and digital modelling. I am particularly interested in landscape-led approaches that bring together ecological performance, environmental stewardship, and meaningful public experience.
