StructSphere
StructSphere emerges from the synthesis of structure and atmosphere, questioning the limits of architecture as both material and ephemeral. It operates as a speculative provocation, an interrogation of architecture’s capacity to exist beyond static form, engaging with flux, adaptation, and atmospheric agency.
Through the lens of computational design and hybrid fabrication, alongside the continued development of a previous project, StructSphere examines how architectural systems can respond to material behaviour and atmospheric forces, creating dynamic and adaptive spaces. Included within the space: a robotics laboratory with automated fabrication facilities, and a atmospheric gallery with showcase space.
The project emerged through an ongoing dialogue between structure and atmosphere. Guided by intuition and experimentation, I used physical models and digital simulations to explore how light, tension, and form could shape an ethereal spatial language. Each iteration became a fragment of a larger architectural narrative, where material and shadow coalesced into a cohesive whole.
