Conversations with Art
The building aims to increase communal value and pride within the community by identifying local heritage and identity in Crewe. Aligning with the Ateliers' goals of designing new buildings that respect the urban fabric around the site, the form takes inspiration from the lattice pattern made as railway lines intersect. Not only does the building bridge the green corridor and town to the train station but the art studio aims to bridge the disconnect within the community itself. Art transcends language, allowing stories to be told in ways that foster deeper communication and engagement.
