Hello,
This site is a place to store my experiments with Wiring. Wiring is an open project initiated by Hernando Barragan (University of Los Andes | Architecture and Design School). Wiring started at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea in Italy and it is currently developed at the University of Los Andes in Colombia. If you want to know more about Wiring or the Wiring IO Board are then have a look at the site www.wiring.org.co
So far I have been playing around with various programing languages to ascertain the pros and cons of each with regard to communicating with the board. This has been in; Processing, c++, c#, Java, ActionScript, PHP and VisualBasic.
I have the basics of configuring a serial connection in each language either directly or via an intermediary such as Serproxy. My next step is going to be to develop a class in c# that will automatically configure a connection to the board. The class will also have generic methods for sending and receiving data to and from the board.
So, whilst there isn't much to see yet, please feel free to have a look around.
If you wish to contact me about anything on this site please send an email to:

(If you can't work it out then I'm sorry!)
Regards,
Fraser.
